Biota was founded with a clear vision: to be a sustainable and integral part of the agricultural industry by producing eco-friendly crop protection and plant nutrition solutions.

Our journey began with the launch of our flagship product, Blue Bordo, a ready-to-use Bordeaux Mixture designed to support organic and conventional farming. With a strong focus on quality and innovation, we established a cutting-edge R&D facility, equipped with advanced analytical infrastructure and a team of dedicated technical experts.

To further promote sustainable agriculture, Biota became INDOCERT-certified for organic farming, ensuring our products meet strict organic standards. We then introduced a new variant—Micronutrient-Enriched Blue Bordo (20%), followed by Blue Bordo Plus, offering improved suspensibility for better field performance.

As demand grew, Biota expanded its manufacturing capabilities by entering into Cuprous Chloride production and later added technical-grade Copper Oxychloride (50 WP) under the brand name Biotox. We also initiated pilot-scale production of Copper Hydroxide, marking a significant step in diversifying our product portfolio.

To meet increasing domestic and international demand, Biota acquired land in Alappuzha, Kerala, India, establishing a larger production base. We also began exporting Blue Bordo globally and started sourcing raw materials from international markets to optimize production costs and maintain high-quality standards.
